       Do you smoke?! Do you want to kick that awful habit?  Here’s the know how on why you should and how to quit.

 

Why you should stop smoking.

 

        You ever wonder why you’re coughing a lot or why you can’t breathe after running just a short distance and you smoke?  Well that’s your reason why, smoking is the worst habit you could ever have in your life because it damages your health severely.  In a single cigarette you have 4,000 chemicals and 40 carcinogens.  Carcinogens are any chemicals that cause cancer, so imagine 40 cancer causing chemicals in your body I don’t think you’d want that.  Also cigarette smoking causes reduced fertility that means women who want to get pregnant have a harder time if they smoke rather than if they don’t.  Also smoking causes damage to the males blood vessels in the penis.  You should also stop smoking because:

 

·          It’s to set a good example for your friends

·          Smoking makes your breath smell bad and makes your teeth yellow

·          Makes your clothes smell bad

·          You save money, if you realize how much money you spend a week on a pack you could think of other ways you could use the money

·          To take control of your life also to kick the habit of addiction

·          Lastly, to keep your self healthy.

 

How to quit

 

         You really want to stop smoking and your committed you stopping well here’s ways you could quit and kick that dirty habit.

 

         Choose a method on how you want to go about quitting.

 

o       Cold Turkey- Just stop smoking completely.

o       Cutting down on how many cigarettes you smoke

o       Try to put off smoking until a specific time

o       Get the patch, gum or lozenge

o       Also prescription medicines you could get are a nicotine spray and inhaler

o       And a non nicotine patch

 

          So with this new quitting knowledge you have way to try to quit just try it.

 

Self confidence

 

         So, now that you know why to quit and how to quit all you need is that self confidence to take that step and stop the habit.  So have that confidence in yourself and stop the habit of nicotine.
