We never really understand the consequences of our actions until it has already happened. In specific, lying may seem like a small fib to save yourself or protect someone else but in reality lying is a bad habit and sometimes we get so use to lying that we do it without even realizing it.

Like when your parents asked you if you finished your homework and you haven’t, but you want to play Xbox or talk to your friends, so you lie to them and say you have finished your homework. This may seem like a simple lie that will do no harm to anyone, so it isn’t a big deal. But, it is. Even with big matters, no matter how much trouble you could get in for telling the truth, it is better to be truthful.
